Super creative game !! Love the concept and the gameplay too, few knick-kacks here and there. But all in all Great work for a 48 hour game jam !! :D

Liked the theming of the dice, but I wasn't really sure what I was doing. I just ended up spamming space and trying to hit two blocks at a time. But cool effort, would like to see more development.

Thank you for playing and suggestions! :D

Cool game! I was a bit confused at first on what to do and the gameplay is a little simple, but I think this can be improved on with more time!

yeah, the simple gameplay was cost all of my code skills.(that’s my first time code, lol

Anyway, thank you for playing!

Really nice idea of using images instead of numbers for the theme. But for me, I just spam through the right angle to get as much die roll as possible and won the game. I just want to see some mechanics that the player can control the current situation and not just randomly spam.

Developer

Thank you for the suggestion! :D

Had a lot of fun with it. And I love the tiny info about the slime I saved at the end : )

Thank you for playing! Glad you notice that!

This is a very creative game and the author's debut. Pixel-style games are one of my favorite genres, and they use a novel mechanic -- dice. Since dice are random, they can only be eliminated by rolling hearts in the game. This mechanic greatly limits the gameplay of the game. It is suggested that the author add some new gameplay if possible, for example, three identical dice will speed up (+) or slow down (-) the progress of the game.

I really enjoyed the game as a whole. Novel themes, 2D pixel style and so on all hit my spot👍👍

Developer

Thank you! I will consider that! And our jam theme is Dice. lol

I was not expecting something like this for the dice theme - it is a unique way to consider the randomness of dies and make them one of the core mechanics. It's also amazing that you are a solo dev for this - it feels polished, and congrats! Also, some personal idea is that it could potentially add some match-3 gameplay since you already had a nice grid!

Developer

Thank you for playing!  I will consider your idea!  Maybe in the future feature.

I'm not 100% sure of the aim of the game. I'm guessing I need to try and get as many heart blocks as possible to increase my heart but the timer counts down regardless?
I did find I can just spam the spacebar as I walk into the block to make it so I grab it as soon as it appears though.

Also I found that my character always aimed down regardless of the last direction I used.

The art does however look very nice.

Developer

Thank you for playing! Actually, as a grim reaper, we are helping the people who come to you, return them to the world in this limit time if you can get enough heart. You can also check the info of the person when you pass the game successfully. “People” here means “Slime” in the game world.

Developer

Also, player has an idle default state(face down), that’s why player always aimed down. And player can only shoot as they MOVING’s direction.

You managed to use the dice well in your game. The idea that the death can reroll your life is pretty scary, but your game delivered it well. Overall there is not much gameplay other than shooting dice into blocks and praying for the heart (as far as i figured), but the symbols and visuals look good.

Developer

Yeah, thank you for playing!
