Pretty fun little game!
Small nitpicking, when main menu say ‘press any key’, I pressed my keyboard and it passed. So I assumed the keyboard can control the paddle, but it can’t. Maybe change it to ‘click any where’ will help?
Fun game but a bit too chaotic?
The combos/multiple dice part is very satisfying but the angles and the way the dice are spawn feels a bit odd. “bullet-time” effect or assist mode actually felt pretty smooth; in contrary right click could have sped up time to avoid boring situations were the dice are bouncing far away from the last targets with low angles.
Super good job given the time constraint though, it plays until the end without any issues.
The game was fun! I loved getting combos where I basically got to clean most of the board for free.
Well scoped, and a good twist on a classic game. It really feels like a complete game. Fitting audio as well!
Some feedback: The fact that the dice that were being remove were fading away made it difficult sometimes to know which die to go for/try to save.
I also agree that the paddle size changing very randomly made the game somewhat frustrating (although I understand that it fits the theme)
I had a lot of fun playing this! You sure know how to scope a game jam well and make a game fun with a bit of challenge. Maybe some space invader's-esque music would do this game some good. The mechanic of the dice breaking was really clever. My only gripe would be that I wish the paddle size stayed larger as you broke more dice and shrunk as you lost dice. It was hard to keep track of.
Great sound effects and fun gameplay! Was a little hard to read the paddle size at times with rapid changes and the blurring effect between changes.
Very nice art and animations! :)
