How does your game fit the theme?
This is a tower defence game. Spawning a new tower is a roll of a dice -- you get a random tower in a random space. You can merge towers together to upgrade them, but once again, you're rolling a dice here, you will get a random upgraded tower.

Incredibly fun, I've gotten legally to round 80.  My only complain is that merging dice really only weakens your defense because high level dice are too costly and not strong enough to compensate the amount of dice it costs, especially as the price of a new tower goes up(does it work like a 6 level dice deal x6 the damege at level one?) so really the strategy is to fill the screen to maximun dice and onñly merge to make space.

That's awesome, glad you had fun! A dice's attack speed is "base attack speed / level", so, if you had a level 2 dice and the base attack speed was 1.3, you'd have "1.3 / 2", so, you're right, you can have 2 x 1.3 / 2 OR 1 x 1.3 / 3 -- that math's says it's better not to merge, good job identifying that, that's a bad mechanic!

Pretty good tower defense game! It even has all the sounds and music and everything, which is a rarity in a game jam (not slagging anyone who didn't get audio working, short time frame is short!).

I'd say rework your UX so that a player isn't clicking in multiple places. The game doesn't seem so fast that you don't have the time to process selecting a tower type while spawning. I do like the random placement, but going between selecting to spawn and the type seems kind of weird. Maybe even just having a random type of dice that gets spawned, and allowing more merging. What I'm saying is that there's a lot of different ways you can take it if you wanted to evolve the concept more. to make the gameplay a little smoother!

Thanks a lot for the feedback :) There is a "universal dice" (the rainbow one) which can be merged into any other dice of the same level -- Love the rest of the feedback, that's so useful <3

Really cool idea! Good job

There's a lot for player to learn. It would be much better to slowly introduce every feature level by level, wave by wave, explaining them the moment they are needed and used.

Yeah, that's super true! Great ideas, thanks, seems like you've been watching GMTK! ;)

Wow this was the first game in the jam I got addicted to! I did make it to wave 17, not trying to brag ;D

Really cool concept, and very good execution! Super fun.

Thanks :) I'm glad you had a good time in the game. This was our first time participating in a game jam, so feels good getting even a single positive comment :) Best of luck for your entry too
