I really like the art for the moving background. A lot of the time I was just jumping and hoping I would make it to the next platform; Maybe adding some camera movement towards the player's future position would help direct the player exactly where to go.

Overall, great entry!

good level design, a nice background and good physics

Awesome game! I definitely agree with @Patello, though. Great work!

When the cube starts to roll it’s so satisfying!

Interesting take on the theme. Some of the levels could be shortened. On level 5, I think, a lot of the jumps the player makes are leaps of faith, so be sure to communicate the direction you want the player to go.  I also think the platforming mechanics need some fine tuning, but other than that, solid submission!

Thanks, glad to hear it! We agree, the platforming and level design need some adjustment.

Hi Jameywags, first of all congrats for submitting and finishing your game. I think you have more room to explore the theme "roll the dice" in your platformer. It would have been awesome to find a surprise mechanic related to fair randomness or the dice numbers. I would like to experience in the future your update with the more polished version of this game with all the ideas you couldn't add because of the very small time constraint for this game jam. Keep it up!

We had much grander plans but due to the linear concept of time we were unable to reach our goal. Also we had very little experience, but it was fun. We plan on continuing to work the game, at least for a while.

just a platformer?

Developer

That is what it turned out to be, although we had bigger plans. We started the 48 hours having never opened unity.

I wish success in the next jams

It kinda made me feel dizzy at a moment, otherwise good work

Developer

Thanks! And yeah the background can be a bit much. There wasn't much time for refinement.
