Honestlyha surprisingly interesting main mechanic that I don't really think I've seen? Though I could be wrong it was definitely an interesting one, felt more like a puzzle game though which would be interesting tos ee with the setup.
A decent amount of levels as well consdiering it's a 48 hour jam which is ncie with some pretty bgood progression of mechanics as well. Though a little iffy on the introductions of some, and others were quite well down and quite cheesy.
Though I will say I didn't see the dice as much as I w9uld've expected, it would've fit a bit more if I had realized while I was playing thta the character waqs rolling. But to honest I did not realize until reading the bit on the review page about "How does it fit the theme". Which, it sort of makes sense in hindsight, but it wasn't entirely clear in the visuals for sure.
Overall though a pretty good experience that I'd be interested to see more of with some more depth to the mechanics.
Adorable game. Super fun to float around the world.
very very cute art
thanks
I love the music and the art stuff but to be honest I didn't know what i was doing but i got to level 8 though and how do you jump?
thanks. You can push the die if you get close to it, not too close though, because you’ll jump on it (it’s an error on my part for making the hitbox small)
ok
Love the music and art, and interesting gameplay mechanic!
love the retro feeling of the game! maybe a bit too easy but still I enjoyed how you managed to make different levels with simple mechanics. The music was trippy and relaxing, i still can hear it after playing ahah.
Awesome game! A little bit more explaining how things work might be good. But once I got it I had a lot of fun. Wrapping around the screen was very clever. Eventually I finished the whole thing.
I got stuck on one of the level :P . Great job with music and polish.
So I tried pressing any buttons to start and even clicked, but nothing happened?
you should probably restart the game page. TIC-80 has this problem sometimes. I should’ve replied earlier, sorry about that. I was away
I didn't understand everything but I wanted to go through all the levels. The music takes us and the levels are pleasant to go through even if strange. Anyway, good game!
Something about this game made me forget about everything else around me from start to finish. Maybe it was the music, the cool artistic style, the fluidity of gameplay so I had no downtime but also didn't feel rushed... I don't know but I really liked it. Great stuff
I felt like I completed some of those levels without needing to move any dice, but I liked the open ended puzzle design at the same time so that's more to do with the theme I guess. I'd be curious to see how the game changes if you were to continue developing after the Jam
I really like the aesthetic of this game. The level transitions I find amusing, and the music is nice. I'm not sure the gameplay really works, but there are some cool ideas.
I find this game has many unnecessary elements in most levels and the big Dice blocking the entire screen indicating the current level is very unnecessary.
The idea of game is not very much clever. I find most levels in this game poorly designed. I didn't realize it was a puzzle game and I could not recall what the object in each level does.
I managed to finish the game, maybe. But I do not like the design.
Cool concept. Loved the PICO 8 Design!
Really cool game... The presentation and music are really amazing!
Great game! It does really well with introducing how the game works, and the level design is good too!
One thing I'd change is maybe making the hitbox on moving the dice bigger, because I didn't realize you could move them at first.
Also good name and colors!
Love the aesthetic of the game, the music is perfect too!
Is there a significance to the dice aside indicators for the current level number?
you can jump on it, you can push it, etc. Some levels have random coins too
