a bit difficult !
But hey, like in the old days at the arcade !
good job !
Thanks! We really appreciate it!
The one-hit kill restriction combined with the size of the ship and the requirement to level up is so burdensome that I was unable to engage with the theoretical core mechanic.
Sorry you didn't up liking it, but thank you very much for trying our game! Thank you for the feedback, we will definitely keep it in mind if we try something like this again!
I thought I outsmarted them by going behind them until the big guys showed up 😭 Great job making a solid game like this! It was for sure difficult, but also fun. The sprites and assets looked great as well. Maybe add some background music in the future after the jam, because it just brings the whole thing together to be honest. And there’s lots of free assets out there! Overall, great job :)
Haha, one of our friends did the exact same thing when he was play testing it, so we moved the enemy path a bit so that occasionally the player would have to move. Thank you so much for the kind words and advice! Haha, this was our first time making a game so we were pretty hype about just having something that works. Thanks for the advice about the free assets! I'm super glad that you were able to have some fun with it and next time maybe we'll have something even better for you! :)
No problem! I really enjoyed the game :) If you haven’t already, would you be able to try out our game and give it some feedback as well? We’d definitely value your opinion and love to see what we can do better on!
Reminiscent of atari games. Pretty cool, very unforgiving though.
Thank you very much!
Reminds me of many fun hours playing with my grand parents atari! Fun :)
Thank you very much!
Didn't really understood how to callibrate my shot and didn't understand the theme less is more. The game is working with some sound and music and you have a menu, that's not the easiest lol, so ya. It was hard.
Ah! Sorry, my bad. By callibrate we just meant level up by destroying the enemies. As you level up, you get fewer lasers, but each laser is stronger. So less lasers equals more damage was the idea. And yeah, I know what you mean! Haha, my team member Capii callibrated the game so he and his friends can beat it while still being challenged, but I die every time. Thank you very much for playing our game!!
