As other folks commented - diagonal attacks would be good. When I run around those big guys I would be beating them more effective:) Good game though!

I really like the overworld map and the controls feel solid. Using the arrow keys for movement felt a little awkward (I prefer WASD), but not a huge deal. Overall, nice game!

cheers bud, I'm really proud of the overworld map, drew it myself and spent time on getting it right, it's the main reason I didn't add a splash screen.

The map looks great and the music really fits with the game! Did you make the music yourself by the way and if so, what software did you use?

I ended up just holding shield all the time and attacking :p It actually ended up being pretty chill and relaxing to play since I could get through all the enemies without taking much damage!

Its funny game. Can u provide some downloadable stuff? For me is not very comfortable to play such game on my browser.

BTW I think is good work, interesting game and music.. I really love this music atmosphere!

Nice graphics! Especially your overworld art, really creates the atmosphere. Add the music you have and you really feel like you're a knight on an epic quest!

For improvement, I think the controls and the combat system could be improved. Like the other commenter, having diagonal attacks would just make it feel more intuitive and less clunky. Also, I suggest that you add WASD controls in addition to the arrow keys :D

Very enjoyable little game! Graphics fit very well for this little romp and the music is quite catchy! Combat was fluid, but attacking diagonally is tricky. If I attack left, right, up, or down the character stays facing in the direction and I can attack while standing still, but I have to be moving to attack diagonally, which feels strange.

thanks Obsidian, the direction thing is a failing, I couldn't get it to work, I need to work on that part, glad you liked though.
