Oooh! Spooky game! I like the eerie atmosphere and music. The evil AI trying to kill all the ship members is a classic trope. The graphics and the controls are very old-Resident-Evil-ish and i like it. Great game.
This game's got atmosphere! It's not often we get voice acting with game jam games, and there's quite a lot of that here. I sadly never came to term with the controls and continue to struggle with selecting objects and opening doors. It is a shame we don't get the full story to appreciate the theme, but story game in general is difficult to pull off in a week. I think what you got done is still pretty impressive and it certainly peaks our interest on wanting to know what really happened.
The vibes i'm getting from this game are awesome. I never owned a PS1 myself, but i think you did a great job replicating it ;)
The conrols/camera were a bit weird at first (mostly ran in circles and against walls) but i got used to it after a while.
Excellent work - I really wanted to keep playing. The story is really immersive - I was drawn in from the start and the ominous audio and graphics matched the narrative perfectly. It gave me deus ex or doom vibes or something similar. The camera point of view was brilliant - felt like perhaps I was the ship's CCTV spying on her? I do hope you finish it because I'd like to know what happens.
Congratulations and thanks for sharing!!
Cool game! Nice use of different in-game objects to spit out the narrative. I found myself trying to piece them all together to figure out the story.
I really like lo-fi aesthetic so enjoyed this, and also like old survivals, I like you put narrative, hope you continue giving it love, I want to kill that damn rat XD
I have to say that the game does make use of the theme, but the dialogue and story progression that makes it obvious is not implemented :(
