I like what you have so far but I got overwhelmed with information overload trying to figure out which actions to prioritize. I agree that a tutorial (difficult to do in a jam) would be very beneficial to be able to slowly introduce all of the concepts at a pace the player can more efficiently absorb. I would definitely play again if you decide to update one day.
Clever idea, would be interested to see you develop this further! Music and a tutorial/hints would be a great addition. Congratulations on your submission!
Cool little game. I played for quite a while, but wasn’t really sure what I was supposed to be doing. I got my spirituality and population quite high (I think).
The quests are a neat mechanic, and could be fleshed out (gather x food, gain x pop, etc.)
Not really sure how the shelter, decay works.
Overall, nice submission! Good work
Cool idea, clear instructions, but didn't like the font. Overall very nice :)
Simple and clear instructions, good UI, and overall a good game. Nice submission!
Very cool game. The shaman quests are very neat giving you more things to do. Spirituality became very high, maybe have some harder shaman quests or be able to trade spirituality to food. Some shaman quests were impossible as they talked about desert tiles, but there were none in my playthrough. Some of the stats were a bit confusing such as shelter usage and decay rate, maybe have tool tips or a help button. Very cool that the resources were finite and you had to keep traveling to survive, it is very thematic as well. Well done on the game!
