Cool concept :)
Its winnable but too much luck dependent for my taste, 2 wrong cards in a row and you're gone.
Very nice background tune, the graphics are fitting, reminded me of gta2 :D
Good concept, it would be better if the AI also got cards though as they always win since you have a huge disadvantage
Nice Idea. It was a bit hard in my opinion but still fun to play.
I would have wished for a bit more interesting track, so that you also get a few right turns.
Controls definitely took some getting used to, particularly that direction was relative to the car and not to the screen. Also, it was not clear to me what each card did: text would have been useful. Great concept, but needs more polish. I agree with the other comments so far.
Why do the ai not get the cards, this seems slightly unfair ;)
The actual gameplay is way to rng based - you can drive with a wheel gone, but if you lose the ability to drive forward you are basically screwed - good luck turning around, and by the time you do you can drive forward again anyway. And how are you supposed to follow a curving track if you can't turn?
Besides the card balance, the game is good and would be fun if the ai didn't always win because of the aforementioned issues. I would happily play such a game if there was more content - i.e. its a good idea, and you should totally do more with it.
Interesting mechanic, the top down view reminded me of gta1.
Suggestion: It would be better if the cards would get picked randomly without having to click them manually everytime as this breaks the flow.
