Nice porthole that's 100% a porthole and not anything else. ;)

Awesome concept! It felt kind of like a mix between FNAF and Iron Lung. Genuinely creepy atmosphere and good immersion. I feel like it would have been even cooler if the inside of the vessel were the same 3D art style as the environment with the same dark and moody feel.

I unfortunately found myself staring at the left wall for the majority of the experience because it was the easiest way to control everything important. It would have been awesome if the gauges and power switch at least were on the front wall with the porthole so you could see more of the cool environment as you descend.

I played the web build and didn't experience any issues other than the initial intro scene which seemed to use a shader or something that produced a garbled mess.

The tentacle section took me longer to figure out than I would care to admit even though I had already listened to the tapes, but I still made it to the end with 50% hull integrity. I'm very thankful it was forgiving in that regard!

The ending itself certainly caught me off guard so well played and great job overall!

And here is the same game that confused everyone with its colors) I didn’t understand why I died at the end, but the game itself is cool. I like the oppressive atmosphere of a closed space

Death by spontaneous explosion?! I hate it when that happens.

Nice game! I played it twice. It had a very particular atmosphere to it. I liked playing the tapes as the sub went down to keep me entertained during the slow parts, but sometimes they were hard to hear.

I died by the tentacles crushing the vessel on my first playthrough. I couldn't figure out what I'm supposed to do with those after I patched all the glass cracks. I just watched my hull slowly drain. Figuring it out on the second playthrough was nice.

Parts did get repetitive, but overall, really nice game jam submission. Good work!

Pretty cool, don't know if it's intentional, but turning the power off seems to make the "thing" that smacks into the window leave you alone?

Happened a bit too often though and started to feel a little repetitive. Overall the atmosphere is great!

Developer

Definitely intentional, it's how you avoid the eel.

Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed!

This game is really spooky! Couldn't figure out how to stop the leaks though.

Developer

Duct tape!

Glad you found it cool

I assumed it was flex tape XD

Really cool entry. Loved the atmosphere that you built here. I really enjoyed the mix of 2D and 3D, and the audio tapes. I really felt like I was deep in the ocean.

I did end up dying suddenly and I am not sure why. The tentacles did quite a bit of damage to the hull, but I had taped it up.

I noticed people often find it pretty unexpecting, definitely should've made it more clear.

If it says you died from asphyxiation, then that means you have to remove the lint from the vent.

If you died from hull damage, that means that the tentacles broke your vessel. Basically, your glass  will only crack so many times, but the tentacles will still do damage. Definitely should have made a sound effect or visual cue or something for that.

Thanks for playing my game, glad you enjoyed it!

Excellent game! Love the addition of tapes to listen to!

Developer

Very thematic I'd like to think.

Thank you for playing!

This was fun, but man, this type of game gives me a panic attack.  Great job!

You're welcome, and thank you!
