Nice work. I liked the two types of key, and how it told me to plug in my controller when i unplugged it.

Nice game, very frustrating! Works on my nintendo controllers. (Wii and Wii U)

Thanks, Nice and yeah that was the goal - would've been nice to add more polish and more levels, but I think the two levels gave it enough to where you got the pitcture :)

I will admit, I expected this not to work as intended if you aren't using an xbox 360 controller and windows 10. I spent most of the week fighting with the tilemap collision and figuring out the cell position so if it's not working that sucks, but that's okay. It was an ambitious attempt at a way of interacting with the tilemap outside of basic collisions which had no documentation.

Sorry for those that couldn't get it working.

Fun game but the keydoor in the bottom right wont open after I collect the key. :)

Developer

doesn't seem to work with my controller

Developer (1 edit)

oh no, what controller? I've only tested with the xbox 360 controller so far

It's the steam controller. I can probably configure it to emulate xbox controller for Godot games.

Godot devs might be interested to know that it doens't work out of the box.

EDIT: Seems like they know about it already. https://www.reddit.com/r/godot/comments/a28f1e/steam_controller_on_godot/

Thanks for the heads up, sorry you couldn't play the demo !

Good news. I got the steam controller working by adding your game to steam as a non-steam game, then playing it in big-picture mode.

Sadly, I'm terrible at these type of games, so I found it really difficult.

Normally I would want background music, but in this game I kinda liked the silence. It seemed to fit the mood.
