I love the character's running animation. I included it in my compilation video series for the Godot Wild Jam #56, if you’d like to check it out. :)
Thanks so much! I spent like 3 whole days just working on the ding dang animation system. I'm really glad you took notice of it!
I was sadly unable to play because I don't have vulkan rendering :(
First of all, my respect to your audio guy. I also liked the way you walk player through the tutorial and overall controls.
A couple of minor bugs:
- I can see there's some text under the Difficulty slider, but there's no way I can read it.
- The Difficulty slider doesn't affect the "Difficulty: 3" text, it's always the same.
- Not sure if it's a bug but you land straight on a umm... damage-dealer at level 3 and stay with 2/3 health points from the beginning.
Other than that I did truly enjoy the game, great job!
Liked the controller support!
I liked the character design and concept. Adding on abilities through phases of the fight was interesting. The controls were a bit tricky on the keyboard (dash up can be awkward), but once I dusted off my controller it was fine. The wobbly text and trash talk between rounds was fun.
