Looks nice, but couldn't work out what I was supposed to do, the train just went in a straight line until it ran out of fuel.
I really liked the atmosphere and story telling you went for,
but I did not understand how I could stop at a station. I read the comments and after just waiting for nearby station to change I pressed and held space but I stopped after the station, at that point the camera didn't follow the player so I couldn't move back like a few meters.
I don't know how you implemented the town generation and train controls but I feel like the game would have benefited from the train being able to go the other direction (unless there was a way but I just didnt see it)
Dystiopian Train survival!! great idea. Love the atmosphere.
It took me a bit to get the hang of it but very playable. Can't wait to see how this evolves.
Great atmosphere, I love the idea, it begs for more storytelling and for more depth but the core concept is solid, I made it to 500KM which is repetitive atm, but with some backstory and some random/procedurally generated content for the cities and the stations this could be a solid game. I hope you'll keep working on it.
Loved the idea and the mood! Great music, would love to know more about this universe :-)
Took me some time to understand that station appear when you stop: I just ran out of fuel in my first playthrough, waiting to see a platform...
I think the objective of 500Km is a big too much ATM with this gameplay loop (would need some "event" to keep the appeal), I drove to 250Km.
Interesting concept and I really enjoyed the mood. You really hit it perfect with feeling like a lone survivor in a barren world. Gameplay wise I struggled to maintain enough fuel to get to the next town. Is each town's supplies randomly generated? Or was the town deeper than one room? I unfortunately ran out of fuel and lost, but I liked the premise.
Hey thanks for the feedback! To answer your questions, each town's supplies are randomly generated, and they're only one room. In the future i'd probably weight the different appearence rates of items differently!
