Yes, a visual novel! Well done, It's funny and it made me laugh .

Developer

Thank you, really appreciate that coming from a fellow Visual-Novelist-er (is that a word?) , much tougher genre than I expected as I barely got half of what I wanted on the screen.

thanks again, p.s. stilling waiting for that cactus to make it to space ;)

Half is better than a tenth 😉

I'm pretty new to visual novel. I'm just good at building games so far, but I would like to change it  and be good at building stories too.

I'll put my project aside for a while.

This was pretty fun! When I saw the ship room in ice I immediately thought of Penumbra. Were you by any means inspired by that?

Nice execution, short and sweet. :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you, I have played it but I got the idea of the ship in the Arctic by simply asking  a friend to think of the most random place he expected to find a cactus.

I'd say the two biggest inspirations was the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Undertale.

Thanks again.

Undertale: "Ah, the cactus. Truly the most tsundere of plants."

Amazing, I loved every second of this! I wanted more...Subscribe!

Thank you, there was quite a bit more of the story to tell but I had to leave it all on the cutting room floor just to make the deadline.

Very entertaining writing, charming graphics and solid controls - it was fun to play through!

Developer

Thank you very much, honestly I just looked at Undertale and a few other Visual Novel controls and copied as much as I could, I even replicated the "Quitting..." line that shows up in the top left corner if you hold the Esc key to quit.

Dr Strangecacti

Developer(+1)

The first working title included a Dr Spikeylove but I didn't really like the sound of it, wish I'd thought of Dr Strangecacti.

Nice writing!

Thank you, to be honest after reading the same lines over and over again during testing I actually couldn't tell if anything I was writing was even remotely funny or coherent anymore.
