Nice game, really well done but the sound. The game suffers from this absence. That is sad because it is very artistically coherent. The minimalist artistic direction is cute. Animations are good. I love the destruction effect with the corn cobs. The gameplay is effective. There is just a lack of feedback due to the absence of sfx. I am pretty sure you will perfect this demo in no time.
A final remark, i am not sure if it is a bug. When outnumbered, the offensive strategy is the best choice. So I always push the weakest side but enemies at the opposite one are stuck in the middle of the map. I dont know if it is on purpose but with this choice the game is easier because you can not be really surrounded by enemies.
This is adorable.
Looks good. All the elements are there, except for audio. I liked the nice stretch and squash animations. I liked the parallax backgrounds. I liked the nice movement on the weapon. Looks good. Audio will push you to the next level.
Nice game! I like cartoony art style. I laughed when I saw the enemy that was just a giant mouth.
I enjoyed this game, It reminded me of the flash games of yore, just with less jank. Well done. The game was easy to pick up and fun to play. It did feel a little floaty at times. (Specially when the enemies "jump" on each other and fly into the sky.)
I got the wave 8 and I found the difficulty curve sort of tapered off. The first 3 waves are easier but then wave 4 and 5 seem to be just enough enemies to come at you and regularly enough to make it tricky to dodge them. After wave 5 though there are so many enemies they all start bunching up and the player can just mash attack and make short work of them. I think if the enemies were a little more spread out that would improve it.
I played on Mac and the game was buttery smooth, I didn't have audio, but I am not sure if that is a bug or not.
Well done that was a great game. I enjoyed it.
