This is a rhythm game. Hit the keys in time in the notes.
While my last experience with music comes from GWJ#63, this particular one has the unfortunate problem of being compared to commercial games, like Guitar Hero and Rock Band.
That's not to say that you guys didn't do a good job putting on something, but in terms of your journey, there are many features and songs for you guys to implement.
The first big thing I'd tell you guys to work on is a syncing feature. It happened to me that things went out of sync, and that's because the note speed isn't necessarily in tune with the frame rate of the machine playing it.
This project could do well in the long term, but you should come back to jam as a break from it.
Greate Music! and nice spin on the theme, I would like to see my frog dudes play while I play and obviously more songs

Did you guys make a song in 9 days? That's crazy! Super impressed regardless; the game is incredibly polished. The art style and color choice work well! Very pop and electric core.
I think I only have one piece of feedback that comes to mind. I noticed that you could mash the note buttons and completely remove the need to time your presses to the beat. Not sure if that's a good thing or not, but maybe adding a feature that punishes the player for playing a note super early could be interesting.
Either way, cool stuff! If you continue to work on it, keep it up!

Is there more than one song? I got 111,000 on the one, I liked the simplicity of the rhythm game mechanic!
It was our intention to add 3 songs but unfortunately we didn’t end up having time to add them in. I’m glad you liked it though !!
