Awesome job. I figured out that if you just keep going right, you can miss all the asteroids. The tiny ones were hard to see but overall good job. I really liked the death animation

i thought the acceleration / damping on the character made precise movements a little hard but I had fun with it!

Great music.  I found the small rocks a little hard to see, but the dash mechanic was nice.  I would have liked a 2 or 3 life system instead of instant death, but it was so pleasant to watch the purple void stars pixel art scroll by that I kept trying again. :)

Lots of fun, well made :D

man, that main game music was a BOP

this game is really challenging and felt a bit unfair at times, like when getting hit by an object that was just offscreen when moving to the left or right. the dash indicator at the bottom should also be moved to the top, because it's obscuring incoming objects

i should also note that if I just held down left or right continuously, it seemed like I could just fall forever with no danger of getting hit

love the music in this! the look is also great as well. I like the parallax effect on the background and the character art. nice work, and congrats on the first jam submission!

A fun endless scroller. I liked the timed-dash mechanic. And it has an online leaderboard, which is amazing!

But, FYI, the game can be cheesed by just going diagonally left - the hazards will never hit you :(

Yes, we tested this early and arranged you couldn't do that, and seem to have accidentally tweaked obstacle spawns afterwards that you can do this. Unfortunately we didn't note the potential cheese option until after the deadline, ah well!
