This is a really strong foundation for a bigger game. Right now, the pirates are too many and too “unmotivated”, I mean, why are there pirates like these who attack you basically Kamikaze style? As the station is damaged, maybe you could just defend asteroids from hitting the station (basically including part of the original asteroids mechanics) and let pirates be a more sophisticated thing, harder to kill, but only on rare occasions.

Game Description
Embark on a mission as an asteroid miner responding to a distress signal, tasked with delivering crucial resources to a nearby station for urgent repairs. Beware of marauding pirates who pose a threat. Can you gather adequate resources to rescue the station, or will you succumb to the onslaught of the pirates?
How does your game tie into the theme?
I used the empty void of space to tie into the theme. Collecting resources in the endless void

I loved you booster particles and the mining ones too ! I think adding movement to the laser would be great too.
I felt the core of your game, and I liked it.
I was a bit lost concerning a 'mission' we have to do, even though I did buy upgrades. did I miss something ?
I would like to hear feedback from you too :)
I like mining games like motherload a lot and I think you have created a nice base for a bigger game. It's a bit rough around the edges and I think you already have a big list of features and QoL features you could implement here. All in all good job and keep it up with the game development.
So I am a sucker for space games, ESPECIALLY space mining games. Don't know why, it's one of those things I enjoy a lot. You obviously put a lot of effort and thought into this game.
- Controls are smooth.
- The upgrades are well thought-out
- I REALLY appreciated the hotkeys for the boosters (shield, missile, etc)
- Voiceover is cool.
I have but a few things I'd change if you don't mind the feedback:
- Put some music in the background, it would really make the game more alive. (space games with country music are my jam)
- Too many pirates ^^ I wanted to mine in peace, but the game kept spamming enemies at me. I mention this because I went into a game with the expectation that it is a simulator with mining. And while it has that, I felt that after a while it was more of a shooter.
But overall great job, really.
p.s.: i also want to mention that this was one of the few entries that had a proper controls page. It helped a lot.
I actually quite like the game) And I like the voiceover narration.
The moment I don't like is loading money...I think it will be more satisfying to get them at once, but make more expensive upgrades. But that's only my opinion)
Good job)
A cool space mining/combat mix.
Really impressive how much you got done in a week, with the space station, pirates and pretty big upgrade system. Seriously impressive stuff.
It took me a while to realise I need to be close to the asteroids to mine and not shoot them 😅
Cool to see an upgrade system! Awesome SFX. I also liked the off-screen marker for the station (would have been lost without it). I wondered if there is a way to "skip" the counting up of the money gain. I found myself waiting around for the amount to hit the required cost to buy upgrades.
Great game. Good upgrade system. I'm going to be hearing "Pirate detected" in my sleep tonight XD.
I noticed I kept getting money being near the facility. Was this a bug?
Quite an original game. There is potential for development. I like random events, and if you add more of them it will be great.
Good sounds and narrator, did you record it yourself?
The only caveat it that it takes too long to load resources onto the base station, and you end up getting bored.
