The difficulty of the pursuer and the difficulty of finding your way through the labyrinth wasn't well balanced. Walking around which was a main feature of the game didn't feel very smooth. The puzzles were cool.
I liked the idea. I just felt like it was a bit hard to go through the doors, laggy to go through them and hard to get away from the pursuer, when I can't fit through the door or when they ambush me unexpectedly in a corner or at the beginning of the game.
Also for some reason I couldn't walk using WASD and had to use the arrows, despite what the options were saying.
Great work! Always have respect for puzzle additional, as I am horrible at building them. The tileset switch with doors opening and closing was an interesting way of getting past the navigation issue. It does cost some lag, but I’m honestly unsure of more performant ways of getting it done (I’m also quite bad).
Nice work!
Managed to complete the game, the puzzles were fun to try and do quickly. The doors seem to lag the game out a lot when they open and close. Overall though, nice little game.
I wasn't able to make navigatorOcluder work for the doors, so everytime you interact with them I place/remove a tile on the tileset for the pathfinding to work which yeah... doesn't look like the best way to go about it.
I like the ambience of this game, it's very spooky! I would've loved some text or pop-ups at the beginning to know that the game had started and what the controls were. Also I think the WASD controls weren't working. Overall, I enjoyed it!
