I liked the neon style and minigames. But I ended getting stuck on the void lock puzzle.

Overall, great job!

Developer

Thanks!

This was cool! I like the neon art style and the music fits the game well. I thought the minigames were fun too. I found myself getting frustrated by the entity, it didn't feel like there was a lot of heads up that it was coming so it pretty much always put me back in the room to do the lights out minigame. I thought it was a little weird that the 3 and 4 buttons don't light up in a plus sign like all the other buttons for that minigame. Overall this was really cool! Great work!

Developer

Thank you for playing! Yeah it's gotten quite clear from the feedback that I tuned the entity bit too difficult, and yeah maybe the lock puzzle too.

Pretty fun minigames and interesting aesthetics. But it was a little bit annoying that the weird cloud got me when I was in the middle of a minigame. Overall, good game.

Developer

Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

The gameplay is interesting and the art is simple but it has its vibe. Unfortunately I couldn't finish the game because i feel that monster is unforgiving (you make a small mistake or don't notice it and you are almost immediatly transported to the room) and the button toggling- It's worse fate than death. Overall, solid entry. I've had a lot of fun with it

Thanks for playing and the feedback! Yeah trying to set the difficulty became kind of difficult, as there were times where I had a playthrough where I barely saw the entity at all, but sure I could add more on the range the game starts to warn you of the entity. When it comes to the button toggling puzzle, personally I got it so memorised after a while that it takes me few seconds to do it. If I end up making some kind of patch for the game, I'm thinking that I might add some kind of note in the cell that has a button combination that you have to press, that will appear there after you have completed the button puzzle once.

Nice and groovy! I was defeated by the button toggling, but still had a lot of fun.

Thanks! I did wonder if I ended up making the button toggling puzzle, a fate worse than death

I appreciated the prompts as I was navigating which key to press. It was a bit confusing to me when I got sent to the void room what happened. Maybe some extra text explaining I failed a mini game (if that is what happened?)
Are the dialogs supposed to loop through over and over? I wasn't sure initially but finally just walked away assuming it wouldn't be new information

Developer

Thanks I appreciate the feedback. I didn't really want to over explain some things, like the existence of the entity you got caught by, the one that sends you to the void. The entity moves swiftly to a failed minigame panel, otherwise it patrols the level and chases you when it gets too close. The dialogues do loop from start once they are finished.
