Awesome work! I don't have much to add, others have said lots of great feedback. Another way to add replayability would be a leader board. I'm curious about the title, I love how dimensionally stable plywood is so was drawn to this for that meaningless reason.
What a great surprise, the core mechanics are so fun, and the difficulty curve is perfect!
The graphics are simple but effective
Congrats for the great entry!
Edit: I think if there were an upgrade option it would increase the replayability by a lot
simple visuals used effectively, everything is conveyed clearly. the audio is neat, especially the skillcheck sound. i did find the skillchecks a little unforgiving, but overall still a fun mechhanic. speeding up the player slightly might also help. a stylish and enjoyable entry. great job!
A good example of simple but clear visuals. l liked how you managed to convey everything necessary using a limited number of colors. Audio is great, especially the sound it made when the clickable area was moving. Loved the pool of blood at game over, slowly expanding and being the only red thing in the entire game. The rythmic mini-game mechanic was also fun.
There's one thing I'd suggest to add: the option to start the ritual without the need to click on the button, but rather with a hotkey like E once the button appeared.
A visually simple but aesthetically pleasing game! The mechanic is cool! I like the idea, but I think the sensor could be a bit more generous, there were times I felt I hit the mark but got penalty. Overall a unique experience. Good Job!
Dead by Daylight reference????
Fun simple little arcade game. Others have mentioned that the player should be a bit faster and I agree. Other than that, I really dig the aesthetic of this game! Good job!
Bro if I were this tight, the music of my game wouldn't suck that much!
Sanity was lost here.
I made a game like this before where you needed to stop the pendulum (or in my game the hand of a clock) at the right time, so it's nice to see a game made with a similar concept. I felt that it was a bit simple, but it was clear and interesting. Great work!
That was quite nice. I like the look and sound of the game, and generally how the pendulum gameplay works. The character is a little slow though. Oh also, the tone of the song got me to think of vaka vanha Väinämöinen :P
Agree with the feeling that the player could move faster, but enjoyable still! Nice one.
Fun arcade game
Pretty simple and fun! Although the player could be a bit more faster. Also the music doesnt loop but the game is still pretty fun
As others have said, simple, but interesting. The timing was a bit hard to get right at the start, but that might just be me.
Agree with Genya Games. Simple and cool.
Simple, but cool! Wish it had a little more going on, but I really liked some of the details. The mini-game was super easy to understand and the SFX were effective.
