Radish: This is very interesting concept with creating alchemical products. Remembering recipes and shopping list are cool. Shopping is tedious, we weren't able to find necessary ingredients on time - if the rooms were smaller and you were getting better chances at obtaining what you need (difficulty might increase with rarity) that would help tremendously. Overall I would love to see this concept to develop more as it might get quite addictive! It's also very original.
Squirrel: Overall fun concept but with some problems in execution. Too much walking, difficulty in finding ingredients makes the whole experience tedious instead of fun :(. However these are just simple fixes balancing the game and the game definitely should be developed because it's worth it!
Thank you for the feedback! I plan to make a 3D version of the game in the future. You're right, the items are too rare to find, which wasn’t intended. A bug in the item generation system caused this. In the version I’m currently fixing to release after the voting ends, I’ve already fixed this bug and added NPCs who sell items from the list at a higher price to help out. Reducing the room sizes was something Jonathan TRAN also mentioned, and I’ll definitely do that. For future jams, I’ll dedicate more time to testing to balance and fix bugs.
Nice game loop ! I would say that the rooms are too wide, and tend to make the game feel very slow.
Besides that, it is a fun game. 👍
I didn't think about that when I made the game, and you're right. Every bit of feedback is really helpful because I'm improving the game so I can release the updated version once the voting period ends. Thank you for playing my game!
I really liked the intractability in the world and the NPC system was cool! I think the game could benefit from making the shopping aspect easier to navigate though! Nice submission.
Thank you!
Nice concept! We enjoyed the challenge of looking for materials, but a little bit more speed / smaller rooms would have been nice n.n" Also, although the instructions at the top of the screen were clear, we found it a bit difficult to read the text without a darker background.
Other than that, great work! We really liked the system of the NPC granting you powers :)
You're right, a darker background for the text would be better. Thank you for liking my game despite the bugs! I plan to add more NPCs, events, and an item theft system, as well as other types of NPCs in the future.
I got to the part where you search for materials and wasn't sure if there was supposed to be a method behind it. I just kind of kept clicking on random stuff and hoped that I found the items I needed. After about 5 minutes all I found was one of the items (needed 5 to proceed.)
Other than that I thought the game was pretty cool!
Thank you, it was my mistake not to specify the types of potion materials, which are plant, fruit, mineral, and liquid/jar. Each type is in one of the four compartments of the supermarket. For example, barrels only contain minerals, so if I need to look for a crystal, I will only find it in the barrels. Thank you for playing my game, despite its issues!
Thanks. Yeah I read the part about the barrels etc. but even still I had trouble finding stuff
