I think you have a lot of potential with this project here! I'm not sure if you did much playtesting though. I think its very important to try your project and have others try it as you develop. It will help with a lot of the issues I found while trying to play. I think with just a few additions your game can be a lot more fun: a sensitivity slider, weapon hit feedback, and stopping the enemies from being able to corner you.

Darn stinkin' cool visuals my friend! I would have loved to see the fleshed out version! I like swinging my big sword :)

:)

I liked the atmosphere of the game! A cool idea and environment for a platformer. I agree with some of the comments that the controls could be a little tighter and the jumping feels kinda off. Overall nice submission !

I wasn't expecting as much as there was from this game! I made it through somewhere around 10 castles. Very nice! Though, I would have liked if the ghosts couldn't camp locked doors

Definitely requires a tutorial but other than that, this is a very solid jam submission. Good job!

I liked the snappy rotational control scheme! Very solid jam submission!

Speed running definitely involves a lot of enemy skipping in this version. We were going to add rooms/doors that require kills to open. It sucks that the enemies aren't optimized enough for the quantity we desired on level 3. To be honest, I wanted to put wayyyy more enemies into level 3 but I was held back by the threat of lag!

Yay!!! We are glad you found enemy prioritization to be engaging! We definitely wanted to do more with that. It would have been cool to do even more with the enemies and their evolutions.  I wanted to make the spiders able to sling a web across gaps and crawl across... so many cool ideas but not enough time!

We are glad you enjoyed! We tried to make a shader compilation room that loads on first run to compile the particle resources, but it seems that it didn't run long enough or do its job perfectly.

Thanks! Making the sounds was really fun, we are quite vocally gifted lol. The left foot of a Blugman is very important!

We were a bit worried that the wall jump may have been a little too difficult. In the future I think adding a little coyote time to all of our jump mechanics would have been very helpful.

Haha yeah we definitely have some rough patches. We are glad you enjoyed our Blug!

Thank you Mr. Soup

Those are some really solid times! You beat my level 1 best! Thanks for playing and good job!!

Crab war ^ 2. An interesting name for an extremely polished game. This is totally awesome! I mean the main menu screen is beautiful, the audio and music are phenomenal. I found the controls to be quite intuitive as opposed to others it seems. Great job with this jam!

I really liked the art and sound design! This game has some serious potential. I do think the game lacks impact. There isn't much feeling from combat. The ranged attack works strangely and isn't straightforward. I think adding hit sounds, knockback, or blood could really add loads to your combat.

The kind of game it's really easy to get sucked into, I think it would be cool to have automation elements or something of the sort! Really great submission!!

While there wasn't a clear goal, I did thoroughly enjoy the environment and building funny "tail/hats". Good job on this game! Its a very cute chill game.

Cool idea for a card battler ! I really liked the graphics and music, I think the deck-building element would definitely enhance the game, still a really great submission!

I think it would be nice to have a way to intentionally speed up the car or just have some tighter controlling of the car in general! I really liked the vibe of the game and endless runners are some of my favorites.

The kind of game thats easy to get addicted to! Nice submission! It was hard to put down after I started getting going

Great game! I really wanted to play it more but as I only had a touchpad instead of  a mouse, it didn't work very well for me. I wish that I could have used key strokes instead. Overall, enjoyed the concept and felt it was very original! Cool art as well!

Ditto what another comment said,  downloaded the mac build and it was the raw proj files. All I've ever wanted is to live the life of a tadpole :(

Even if unfinished, I can see the vision for the game and I think it's an interesting idea! This one reminded me a bit of Vampire Survivors. With some more time I think you could have a really cool game here! Nice job.

Really enjoyed the prototype! Even in an early stage the game has really good game feel. The animations were really clean,  the screen shake added a lot of weight to the attacks. Really cool concept!

I liked the music and graphics! They gave the game a very nice atmosphere. With some more polish I think this could be a solid entry! Nice submission!

Nice submission! Gameplay took me a little bit to get used to, but the game reminded me a lot of Vampire Survivors!

When I saw this game and opened it, I knew honestly it was not for me. So I got my girlfriend to come play it to give a more objective opinion, and she really enjoyed it! Made my girlfriend happy 10/10

A really cool and unique idea for a game! The UI was a little small for my eyes, so I had a hard time reading what was on the screen. I really enjoyed the graphics and I think its a super cool idea for a game. Nice job!

I liked the music ! I think the gameplay could be a little more involved though! I agree with some of the other comments, I think that some minigames or animations could really spice it up! Nice submission!

I really enjoyed the intro cinematic and the art and audio were super cool! I had some issues playing the web build version, so I went to the download version which worked better! My only criticism is that the controls were a little loose for my taste in a platformer, and I think they could be tightened up a bit. Overall, great submission!

I liked the art and the interaction feedback from stuff like combat! Unfortunately, the big enemies had too much health and I couldn't get past the second room.

Really liked this game, the audio design and level design really caught my attention. The enemies have such a cool aesthetic. The only comment I have is the combat felt a little slow, but after playing for awhile I think that's the intention. Really really awesome submission, great job!

I really liked the atmosphere and artwork! Not going to lie but I got completely stuck at the cone part. But I brought my balloon over there :)

I really liked the UI and I think that the game has a really solid foundation! I think the game could use some more skill elements, maybe you can save a dice each turn or different enemies have different effects on the rolls. Nice submission!

I totally see the resemblance to the Spirited Away lil' guys! We are glad you gave it a shot!

Thank you very much!

The trusty left foot of a Blugman is a vital tool.

MMM MMM MMMMMM that parallax when going up that hill felt so right. You did a fantastic job with the visuals here! A very nice cute little story!
