Cute story! I included it in my Godot Community Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)
I do not know what I had to do on the level 2 (I guess it was what solved the fixed version?).
Anyway, looks nice and control is good.
Thanks for playing. You have to get hot enough to be able to melt the ice. Unfortunately, there isn't much you didn't miss by not beating it.
What a dramatic story!! haha you should expand on that front, I wasn't expecting it
Haha, yep. It was extremely ad-libbed and built up throughout the weekend off of quips by me and my partner in crime.
Congrats on your first Godot project, it's a nice achievement :)
The overheating/cooling/melting mechanism is quite interesting, and can lead to interesting puzzles - in the jam entry as is there isn't much, but it shows potential. I liked the crazy intro cinematic :P
Thank you! I liked yours too, it's a nice minigame-type thing. It's really hard once it gets up to speed though!
Ice blocks now melt properly, download the *-fixed.zip version.
feel like an idiot for taking 10 minutes to melt through the ice on the right... second playthrough went left and was done in 2 min haha.
Wow, you took the time to play through it twice on the old version, you've certainly got patience. Thank's for playing!
A "cat-snake" inside a robot. Weird but original.
It's a nice game and it was a cute introduction but that dang ice doesn't want to melt. Good job.
Thank's for the feedback! Your game was cute as well.
Thanks. Certainly a lot simpler :)
I'm guessing the ice should melt, but it doesn't. Thus you can't get past lvl 2.
Yep, I'm having the same problem.
you have to get really hot in order to melt it
Fixed now!
