neat hack that isn’t what you expect from the title, you aren’t going after the Jets or Sharks but monsters!
There's a really cool idea in here, but I'm a little vague on the fleshing-out. What sort of monsters are you hunting? Or are you doing jobs for some monsters, to calm their spirits, and that's what the tasks mentioned in the tattoos are?
I agree that the tattoo idea is very cool.
You are hunting all types, I use the typical 50s movie monsters and the ones from the movie THEM. The Task I leave up to the GM but I typically name them after a 50s song and assign some cool power relating to the title. Hot rod Lincoln gives you a bonus when driving.
the giant Gila monster is another great example of the genre!
I dig the tattoo feature. I could see using that in a bunch of different games.
