So gnarly it reminds me of the tubular cartoons I watched in my radical childhood.

Thrash Dogs is, well, rad!

The XP system is perfect — builds on the existing Tunnel Goons rules to make something new, lightweight, and thematically on-point. This isn't a game about fighting, it's a game about fighting the Man, and the XP system captures that perfectly. Plus, it's easy to steal and use in other hacks with more diffuse "enemies".

The voice and design are also flawless. The only thing missing for me is a little more — I wish this had some mission prompts to get players started and build out the world.

Thanks very much for this. I have definitely always wanted to do full on skateboard rpg system along these lines. Something you can play sitting on the curb or on the drive home from skating. Maybe some day.

This is great, such a neat hack and immediately playable premise. Love the spending of XP, the campaign goal,  and the general pacing!

It's interesting how lightly tweaking what happens when you beat a target number manages to dramatically shift the whole tone of this game (for the better, I think—thrash dogs move too fast to chip away at a challenge).

I imagined the entire game taking approximately the same amount of time as The Circle Jerks' Group Sex.
