This is low-key one of my favorite games in the Jam. So many brilliant little subsystems that contribute to a great game of romantic adventures: The terrible and cool scars, the downtime actions, and one of the most evocative sets of classes in the game.

Basically this is the ideal game for someone who's played too many Bards over the years. (I am one of those people.)

Thanks so much! I wanted to focus in on the Van-Helsing-Bard-Mobster Gonddolieri of Pentola for a bit and they lent themselves really strongly to the jam, I think! I had a lot of fun trying to think of clever ways to reinforce their lore/feel without being too hamfisted. I'm glad that came through a little!

Oh nice, now I can see what you meant with Charactersheet including rules. It is a great inspiration and I like how you put the Blades Style Downtime actions into this. Sleek!

Thanks so much! ^_^

I really love the use of songs and possible effects for each. Cannot help but start imagining stories or folk tales to be evoked through each combination of theme and emotion. Really great job!

Thank you so much! ^_^

I love the table for nearly dead, makes hitting zero HP actually interesting, death is boring, scars are cool! Allowing players to choose between downtime options for different bonuses is very tasty and could be narratively fun, I'd ask my players to describe how their week went for sure. The Dweomersongs system is a very fun way to handle "magic" and would resonate with some of my more musically-inclined players for sure. Might just have to use that as a class next time we play tunnel goons.

Thanks! I tried to impart as much of the Pentola lore on the gondolieri as I could in the constraints of a single spread (and mostly via mechanics) - I'm really glad you liked the dweomersongs!

I envy the character sheet that fits in the game rules, easy to visualize how you'll play the game.

Songs as a core part of characters just screams musical RPG. Needs to show up more often.

I was really worried the character sheet wouldn't fit on the back and/or would end up too cramped, but I think it worked out okay! Singing away the canal demons as a core conceit of Pentola is one of my favorite details added by an early playtester. <3 ^_^

Great layout!

Thanks! It was team effort and a lot of last minute scrambling. ^_^

Very nice adaptation. Love the random spell table and cool scar vs terrible scar distinction especially! Impressed how much new stuff you fit in here without it feeling too cramped (AND a cover AND a character sheet!).

Thanks, Jason! I was really worried about being able to fit it all in the spreadsheet but Ashley was able to do it and it didn't feel as cramped as I feared!
