I like how well thought out your concept is. You've made a detailed plan, and explained everything really well.

This sounds like the child of Hydro Thunder and Mario Kart and I'm all for it! Cannot wait to play it!

Best of luck, but from how well planned your design doc is, I'm not sure you are even going to need it!

I really like the voxel look. The depth of field/vignette effect on the images in the “visual style” section of your design really have a nice feel.

Your schedule looks well calculated. I look forward to playing the game!

It's nice to allow players to use powers depending on their position in the race so that they can catch up when they fall behind. The voxel style fits the overall design of the game. I wonder if the waterfall/tunnel will be part of the level design, which would really separate it from a vanilla racing game.

Thanks! I'm really hoping I can incorporate different elevations into the game, fingers crossed I don't get carried away!

Very nice and concise GDD here. Easy to follow along, clear premise and good plan overall! Personally I would recommend a buffer time towards the end of your production phase to avoid crunch potentially, otherwise great work! Can’t wait to try out drivin that boat. Best of luck!

Thank for checking it out! Good recommendation, I tend to get carried away during the end of jams and try to cram. I'm going to try and squeeze in some Tears of the Kingdom when I'm ahead of schedule lol
