I stumbled across a glitch in which the vendor floats above the inventory screen such that it looks liek they are standing inside it.

I'd go as far as to say it has more story than most of the other games at the minute, and is a really interesting idea.

I can see the beginnings of something, but for now, the game is quite repetitive with no clear goal, I love the 3D (3D is great) I was unclear what I could plant, could I plant different things? The game starts with a long dialog a click to skip would be really nice. A great communist experience!

I love the main menu and how the background switches and also how you can more the items into the cauldron.

The sound is very nice a catchy also the sound of the wizard talking makes me laugh.

The animation of the characters movement and ideal is nice and original.

Right now the map is big with nothing in it but I now that the game not finished. The only thing I would say to improve is focus more on the game than the menu.

Overall I like were this game is going, looking forward to the finished produce.

  • Lovely background for the starting menu, lets us know that time passing in-game is something to expect
  • The "nighttime" background that shows at the start menu every so often makes it difficult to read the game title
  • Putting the eyeball into the cauldron is a creative way to start a game, really cool!
  • It's not too clear that the eyeball is essentially a play button, I only knew because of the game notes
  • The music for the main menu is lovely and well-fitting, spent a while listening to it whilst writing out the first half of this feedback, and it didn't get annoying!
  • Unsure what the other two items on the main menu would be used for in the future
  • The start game audio felt a little long, but that could come down to my personal preference
  • The audio whilst talking to the wizard fits really well and feels nostalgic
  • I really like the simplistic style, I can't pinpoint what exactly makes it feel nostalgic, but it somehow triggers that feeling very well
  • The character audio is brilliant, the little "oooOo" at the start made me chuckle along with the Banjo-Kazooie style talking audio
  • The use of the witches laugh when the wizard mentions witches and warlocks was great, love the attention to detail!
  • The whole introduction scene gives us an idea of what we as the player will be doing and give us an idea of what to expect
  • When the game starts, the audio cuts off which broke the immersion for me
  • The visuals feel very dark compared to the beginning of the game
  • Would be nice to have some audio feedback when picking up the items and when buying/selling
  • It's unclear what I have to do straight away, but my first instinct was to pick up the items and use them

TLDR; A really nostalgic feeling game with plenty of charm, I can't wait to see the final game!

0/10 Justice for Goblins- From a Goblin

But seriously really liked the intro, although i think a skip button should be optional because some just don't wanna sit through it. I was a little confused with how to start the game and had to read on how to do it as I was just watching the menu screen. Also I think STORMVILLE might have to be a different colour just because its hard to see during the night bit.

I will admit i didn't really understand what I was meant to be doing- ovbiously I gobbled up all the plants because ya know girls gotta eat. But i didn't really understand what the objective was :/

Also maybe add some barriors so players cant walk into the green screen of doom!

But really liking the concept and cant wait to see how it turns out!

Loved the intro, nice bit of story to get into. Love the wizard dude and his audio. The art style is so nostalgic i love it, reminds me of the old sims games on PC. Cool menu concept but maybe add tool tip to help the player

the sound volume is extremely loud and somewhat deafening.

the main menu screen isn't clear about what to do and took me a couple times reloading the game to be able to playtest.

I felt a little bored with the intro, there was a lot of text to go through and eventually I just wanted to skip it all and play the game, the actually game felt like  a good start.
