A very fantastic game from the art to the gameplay, although I agree with calcifer_3118 about the IK system. Also, I feel like it was a little hard to figure out how to download this, otherwise fantastic job
I really loved this game and wanted to keep playing! The art style from the beginning menu, intro "comic" and then the 3d graphics in-game are all excellent. I had a great time playing around with the pouring of the lemonade. It has "unexpected humor" in the same way that a game like Surgeon Simulator does. In fact, I used it in a video that i'll share later!
I can't tell if there's a bug or if the submission is incomplete, but after i finally figured out how to earn money from lemonade sales, the game "you win" screen appears before I can go and buy the lawn mower and earn money that way. I never did find the hat either! Regardless, I had a great time exploring the world, walking through the HUGE lemon, and looking behind every single house for secrets. Any time you sell the player on an "exploration mode" you gotta reward us weirdos who go looking everywhere for easter eggs. At least drop an imposter in there or something! Great work and congratulations on submitting!
This is a very amazing game.
I feel like this game really has smooth gameplay and amazing art. Also, I really love the theme. Great job.
Now this is a really cool game!!!
I mean the initial cutscene, fabulous, just like old summer comics, really smooth!!! The movement is great. The art is highly appreciable.
But the IK system could have been better, specially if it is the core mechanics of the first task and the difficulty should be little less in my opinion. Also the colliders were missing between hands and the jug:
But overall a really nice and fun game with a lot of potential. I highly appreciate your efforts!!!
Hello everyone! Thanks for the comments, and sorry about the file type. We were rushed and didn't think about how not everyone is familiar with .rar files. A .zip would have been much simpler lol.
You can use 7-Zip or WinRAR to extract the files. Right-click "tttt.rar" <- Note the rushed name xD. And press "Extract here", or "Extract files" and choose a destination.
Once unpacked, simply open up "TheRedHat.exe", and play!
Thank you:))
Here is a WinRAR download link if you don't wanna google for one <3:

I can't figure out how to open the game. From the looks of it, other people are also struggling with this, while others got it to work. What do I need to do to open it? Does it use a certain program?
The download is a compressed .rar file, It can be unzipped from a multitude of programs, I like winRar. Then, to launch the game open up TheRedHatGame.exe :)
I could not figure out how to open the game either

I couldn't figure out how to open the game. If someone could tell me how to, that would be greatly appreciated.

The graphics BLEW ME AWAY! The art panel at the start was simply amazing, and the trees really stood out. Love the environment. It is so cool that you made your own music too!
The Red Hat costs $100!
We didn't have enough time to complete the other levels as we joined this game jam with 3 days left.
90% of assets are handmade, the odd few are from the provided links in Hackington's Game Jam page.
We submitted this game with only 2 seconds left and I have never been more stressed. That being said, not only didn't we get the chance to bug test, but we also didn't have time to write a description hence this comment.
Thanks for playing! <3
Go show those bullies!
Also I made the background music using Logic Pro in less than like 3 minutes and I am very pleased to say the least. I do be doin' a little dance.
