I really liked the game, I already seen you redid dialog at the last time so it's probably related the fact that multiple dialog boxes can spawn on top one another, apart from that minor inconvenience I like the lower movement speed and thought it was more reasonable than stopping completely the player!

This is adorable! I love the music you chose, it made me want to hurry up. The writing is funny too (in a good way). The irony of a ghost complaining about having to do a job repeatedly but unable to stop even if it's *whispers* d-e-a-d

Though I wish the customers froze you on the spot for a few seconds. I think I was cheating and being rude to them by rushing away even if there's a dialog box at the bottom of the screen. But I need to help Casper get his monies. :((

I originally had it where the player would stop when someone talked to them but very late in the jam I had some issues with my dialog system and had to redo it from scratch and didn't have time to re-implement the stopping sadly.

Great Job on first game! I really enjoyed the concept. As for some feedback, it was difficult to see the orders and their quantity on side the screen. I might recommend putting a background on it to give it some contrast. I would also recommend making the icons smaller. Takes up a decent about of the screen. The people are fun and helpful. I would have liked to click a button to talk to them rather than dialog box pop up each time I walked by them. After a while, all the dialog boxes started to overlap and clutter the bottom half of screen. This made it difficult to see what item were on the bottom to pick up for the orders. Just a few critiques. There's a lot of potential opportunity. Overall, great start and look forward to seeing more!

I also tried to change the font colors of the numbers but I definitely could have reworked that to get it to be more clear. Thank you for the feedback, it is really helpful!

Great job for 72 hours AND for your first game! You saw my comments on stream already, obviously there were a few bugs that need to be fixed but the gameplay was surprisingly intensive, especially with that choice of music!

The music matches perfectly and the idea of a ghost shopping is great! Nice first game!

The game is simple in gameplay. Where this game really shines is the music in combination with the lazy customers throwing questions at you while you frantically search for the produce you need. One improvement I would make would be to increase the timer since I was losing much more often than I'd like...

Developer

There was a bug with the timer starting too early but I unfortunately ran out of time. Thank you for the kind words though, this is the first game I've ever made so it is far from great but I had a good time.

If this is your first game, I'm certain you'll be going places! Keep up the good work!!!
