I really liked the plot. As a cat owner I at first felt offended, then very pleased!
This was quite a bit of fun!
Thank you. I am a cat
ownerservant (of two magnificent tux cats) as well, and I love them very dearly. <3Glad you enjoyed it!
Who knew chores could be so hard? LOL. Excellent job. Very unique and very fun. Way to think outside of the box and make a really fun game.
Thanks Nova. Glad you enjoyed! (Also, what do you mean chores aren't hard? They always are :P )
Aw this Harold I found quite endearing, and facesets and map sprites were great looking. It was nice to hear of his peaceful, simple life with Lucius. Gameplay was fast paced and varied enough. Being blinded kind of took the fun out of clean sweeping though. Also noticed there were no animations. This is actually kind of fine as it makes combat super fast, but the combat log flashed by so fast without animations or other delays that I know I missed a punchline or two.
Satisfying ending wrapped up a nice, tightly devved jam entry!
Glad you liked it, Human. I tried to make you proud with this lovable wannabe Harold. ;)
I can relate to Harold's reluctance to do housechoresquest (especially when they are that dangerous). Very funny battles! Thanks for playing, Nowis. =D
This was fun. When I started my first chore, I was like WTF, but it ended up being a neat idea with each one being different. I enjoyed exploring Harold's stuff in the house too. Now I need to go feed my cat.
Thanks for playing Zyphli! I'm glad you enjoyed it, despite its oddness. Yes, be sure to feed your cat or it'll turn into a demon. ;)
This was fun! Top drawer Harold content, you captured his character really well. And you always gotta love a talking animal companion.
The "battles" were entertaining and a cool take on RPG combat and questing. I can safely say that never before have I found myself in danger of dying while washing dishes.
Funny ending too. I'd love to see a sequel to this.
Thanks for playing, Trihan :D I'm glad you enjoyed it!
No plans for a sequel on this though. I do want to expand the ending just a tad bit more and show the spread of Harold's legend.
