Overall: A neat idea with plenty of replay potential but could have used a second pass to make sure everything worked properly.

Gameplay: Interesting premise with the six heroes, but unfortunately gameplay got pretty buggy. I clipped into a NPC in the volcano as Ruby while teleporting and as Danya while pushing statues into corners. Gameplay itself is sufficient but not revolutionary and sometimes could be a tad bit vague. I did manage to finish Haley's route though.

Music: RTP is RTP.

Comedy: When Dayna said Harold has a sweet ass I felt that.

Graphics: RTP is RTP.

Story: Simple enough, go rescue Harold from a volcano in some way.

The premise is interesting, but it has a lot of bugs that could potentially softlock the player.

First run I tried to play as Haley, but couldn't get past the sliding ice puzzle. Probably just my fault, idk.

Next, I tried to play as Dayna. Made it all the way to the volcano, but then got a "Failed to load img/characters/%24BigMonster1.png" and couldn't progress any further. Well, at least what little of her route I saw was funny...

Finally, I tried to play as Ruby. First run I didn't press the switch in the red chest the first time I opened it, and when I realised I probably should have, I didn't have the option to press it again and had to restart the run. Same issue with the puzzle with the purple flames. Made it all the way to the volcano, then used the teleport spell with the coordinates from the previous area, and got teleported to some other volcano map where I was stuck with some guy whose image was permanently displayed to the screen, and could do nothing except teleport to the same location... Kinda gave up after that, tbh...

Alright! We got a Nova Harold game back in! I really liked the premise of picking a hero to save Harold with, each with their own unique path to save him, and very quick, rewarding puzzles.

I played two paths, the Warrioress and the Magic White daughter person. Each path could have used a decent amount more play testing. A lot of little bugs had me making sure I saved at every place I could just in case I got locked. Like the warrioress could freeze the game when pushing statues if you push too fast. She could also walk to the volcano and not be able to leave or teleport to save Harold. She could also teleport to Harold but then cancel out of the second confusing automatic teleport prompt, and teleport scroll couldn't be used again. The other path had some similar little things.

If you smoothed these little things out, it would have been really enjoyable to play all 6 paths, and I think they all could have fallen within the hour. You did drop this game in super early, so maybe you were just busy and making sure you got in on Harold Jam, but a few more days of play testing and bug fixing would have been totally sweet for players.

Thanks for playing. I won't lie, I made this game quickly.

I played your game before the game jam ended, so memories of names of places, characters, etc. may be unclear, but I'll do what I can to recall what I remember. I also played all paths. I will say that the idea is interesting, but I had more of an impression this game had more bugs than gameplay enjoyment. For example, returning to a previous map may yield a character that was already supposed to disappear on that map, movement issues with one of the paths, and the rooftop where you can walk out of, and quite some others like the part where you get a boat you can basically get stuck if you go back, and it felt like bugs everywhere (even the drinking challenge with the guy who will give you a boat, you can even trigger a dialogue related to that when you're not on that path? Sorry, memory quite fuzzy after more than a week in an experience I felt like was ruined by the bugs T_T). There were I think at least two different occasions where I can get stuck literally and have to restart from the beginning. I also initially thought the "Tap Z" thing was buggy and tapped so hard and not much happened and just left that path and went with another character, and then came back to it afterwards and finished the path. Anyway, there were so many bugs :'( I think even on one of paths or two, moving at the lava mountain was strange. The coordinates part also never made sense to me, and I could beat that path without figuring it out (although I did try to go around the map to see if I can figure anything out and maybe even ran into some bug). My favorite path is the ninja path, which I really thought was cool and funny. XD I totally enjoyed the ninja one :D The others were okay for me, but I'm sure it's mostly because of getting stuck multiple times due to bugs (besides the "Tap Z" one which may be an exception).

Hi, I am live with your game :)

Thank you for playing. Sorry the tap Z thing gave you so much trouble.

Went with the caster girl who is fixated on rearends lol. Magic Center initial puzzle clue was very clear, but since there were only 2 places to place orbs was ultimately confusing. Figured it out though. Everything worked great, only small issue I ran into was that you can walk right off the roof here...nbd tho was able to run around awhile and hop back on:

Fun little adventure, gonna give it another whirl sometime with the ninja :)

Thanks man, I appreciate you playing the game.
