I said a lot of my issues during the stream, but my main thing is that RPG Maker is NOT designed for ARPGs without a LOT of consideration given to the players and how button inputs work. Several times I would attack and then try to dodge out of the way, only to have nothing happen because the attack input hadn't resolved before the dodge input. So that made things incredibly frustrating for me while playing. Also, it could have used a bit better guidance on where to go to do things, but I understand that it also kind of the type of game this way "solve mini puzzles and find items to move forward) so eventually one would find the correct path. I just feel some were a little obtuse. Still, the story and art of the game and music were all top notch.
Loved it like I love the last game. My only complaint is weapon durability vs. how many enemies there are. I actually run away from most fights instead of fighting to conserve my weapons/throwables. Unfortunately, I'm currently a bit stuck; I know I need to find a code and a ladder, but the only thing I can do right now is interact with a clock, and that doesn't appear to do anything. Everything else is either locked or has been opened/searched. Not sure where to go from there. I'll definitely keep trying, since I want to know what happens.
I love what I've seen, and I like that you tied it into your last game very nicely. The intro made me laugh.
Thanks for the input! The clock is actually a hint for the code for the briefcase in that room. In hindsight since it’s the first puzzle I should have included some text to make the link more obvious.
:O Oh, really!? I thought it was another puzzle where you had to change the time and I just didn't have the right item/note to activate it. Thank you.
Very nice artstyle and I like the idea of a deserted con! However the combat felt a bit off, I think the attack needs to be a bit faster and reactive to button presses possibly.
Keep up the good work! :D
