Ranked from 3 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.
Historical Accuracy
The layout of the house is heavily inspired by the actual layout of the Ipatiev house the Romanovs were executed in. Additionally, the events leading up to the game closely follow the timeline of history, including the riots on July 13, 1918. Where they differ is that the riot was very quickly quelled in real life while they lasted for long enough for the family to escape.
Thematic Relevance
We wanted to make a game that was a little bit different. Instead of being the assassin we wanted the players to see if they could change the fate of the Romanov family and prevent them from becoming victims.
Disclaimers
Only content we used that wasn't Godot was the Popochiu framework for the point-and-click mechanics.

Unfortunately, didn't run for me. :(
I agree with jam_bone. Some instructions on HOW to play would have greatly improved the playing. I was just walking around clicking on everything as well. I looped around a bit, but I did find the family. It was not readily clear on what was interactable unless I watched the mouse change. Maybe that was the point, but nevertheless, the artwork and mechanics were well done. You did well for the jam and it was an interesting concept. Thank you and you did a great job!
Well done on the amount of content here, the art style was very fitting. I feel the experience would have been improved if it was more clear on where I was supposed to go, I found myself walking through every door on loop and clicking on everything. Well done on finishing a game in ten days.
