Gameplay was simple, yet you made it massively atmospheric and told a story in what I'd say was a unique way. It felt odd and mysterious, the varying environments of the maze really helped immerse the player into the story. I am left with a sense of wanting to know what the flip was going on!!
I love it when a game does much with very little. This is one of those games. I was expecting some jumpscare, but then I felt the maze getting harder to navigate through and it hit me. At several points felt like I was lost, and only a sheer navigational instinct and a will to survive helped me get together and not succumb to desperation. Nice trick with those shuttering doorways! And also kudos for atmospheric sound design and visual effects (especially in eldritch rooms).
I got super lost after the point when the second captain leaves, and I just kept going around in a giant circle. Don't know where to proceed... I wish I could see the end lol.
Just a hint: hmthe maze has no circles, so if you were to stick to one wall you will eventually reach the end ;)
I must have turned around over and over again LOL 😂🤣 I'll have to play again for sure!
Creepy game. I really enjoyed the writting :)
I love the idea, thematic and how it's executed. Pretty solid game.
