Gameplay-wise, I was a bit confused at the beginning, but I liked the concept and the idea overall to help adventurers. Kudos on finishing the jam! ^^

thanks! we wanted there to be a little bit of a learning curve in figuring out the loop of the game, but we did want to add some more direction. unfortunately, a 72 hour jam made us cut some corners lol. we plan on getting more instruction in at the beginning.

Don't worry, I think that everyone struggled to finish their games in such a short time but it's already cool to have done this much :)

Right? It's always fun to look back and have something done!

This was very relaxing and fun. I'd love to see the AI battle each other after each day. Could show the characters battling the monsters with/without weapons and either slaying the monsters, losing, or almost losing depending on the gear. Might be too much but would definitely be cool.

I loved the art style but I thought maybe you could give us more input if we're doing well or not? During the market phase, I didn't see the items I made being reduced, there is no currency so I don't know if I actually made a sale or even if I'm actually helping the town.

Also, the market phase is quite dull, maybe add some mechanics where you try to push your possible clients to buy your stuff? Like a dialog minigame?

Thanks for the feedback!

While the items do disappear once "purchased" from the shop, you're right that there is no other indicator for progress. We talked about a money display on the screen, but we didn't have anything in mind on what to USE the money for. Love the idea for a dialogue minigame!
