ice sliding puzzles are always fun, even if i am relatively bad at them :(

some simple looping background music would have been nice to set an atmosphere, i think. the sound effects are there, and they definitely improve the gameplay.

i encountered a bug: there seems to be no system in check to see whether you exit the screen. for instance, if you immediately go left in level 3, your character walks out-of-frame never to be seen again, and you have to restart the game, very frustrating in games like these where you can easily walk out-of-frame accidentally. it should be fairly easy to implement, i think, but of course i don’t know your codebase.

am i right in the assumption that you wrote this without using an engine? if that’s the case, i am very impressed, you already know more about how to conjure computer magic than i do.

I could see this being iterated on, because the basic visual design is kinda nice (even though it needs more variety), and I liked the sound, but as mentioned by octogoon, it needs some balancing.
Other than that I can clearly see what you were going for, but (I assume) couldn't reach in the short time. Anyway, you made a functioning game, with sound, multiple levels and a menu in just a week - that's quite the achievement!

i really like the visuals, but the sound is just meh. the footsteps are louder than the portal sound, which in my opinion should be louder bc you hear it more rarely and its more important, and when you move diagonally, two footstep sfx play at once. the concept could be more creative, but  i cant really blame you bc my creativity is 0 lmao-

the gameplay kinda reminds me of the pokemon ice sliding puzzles, dunno if that was maybe an inspiration.

i cant really see how this fits into the "limited space" theme tho? idk maybe im just dum (im am)

overall, maybe an average of like 3 stars- keep coding tho, ur doing great!

Im really happy to hear people tried it out, let alone leave a comment. Thank you!
thank you for pointing out the flaws, I was kind of aware of some of the things. as to the theme - I hoped to make more confined levels, like you would have limited space to move, but got many issues and bugs and couldn't work around them so I decided to release it as is.
