I like the idea of the game, the animation with our purple friend showing up is very cool! The game was very buggy and I couldn't get to the end. The character movement tended to bug out and in one occasion I got stuck to a wall.
Game does't reallt tell you what to do but I figured out to fight a boss. It was fun and cool reference to Bill Cipher my friend:)

-First,you need to came to the newspaper
-then to the window
-then you need to get out(door on the right)
- boss fight 1
-a little puzzle(button activates with a light,that you shoot)
-final boss fight

a little story(I'm stupid and cannot add a description)
Mike,the main character is seeing his Personality,that talking to you about to find some cult,and you going to investigate the mystery
I tried playing the game, but there was no description on itch to explain the basic idea of the game, and after having started, messed around a bit, clicked here and there, I did not understand the following points :
- what are those yellow things that you shoot but don't act like bullets, more like magic ?
- what are you supposed to do ?
- the dialogue with the character got stuck even when I came back to the workd, I don't know if it is normal
About the newspapers, there were a lot of typos, and even though the newspaper seemed to be more funny than serious, maybe you could push the "funny" even more maybe by using lolcat speak or something ? There's maybe more to the game, but without help I couldn't figure it out
