Great idea! The only problem is: the unit rotates when I try to move left or right...

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! It's not very clear from the start how the game works. A tutorial section would fix this, thank you for hinting that out! :)
The movement is based on WASD: W and S are used for Acceleration, whilst A and D are used for Steering. In order to move you would need to have either W or S pressed, and use A or D to steer. Pressing A and D would apply only steering. So A or D pressed alone would cause the tank to rotate in a circle.

This tank controls are really nice. Once you get used to them it is fun~ The homing missiles seem a bit unfair, they always followed me even all the way back to the base hehe.  All it really needs is some game juice(particles, animations, screen shake, etc.) and sound. Keep it up~ Please check out my entry when you can :D

This was fun. I wish I could clearly put in words the thoughts that are in my head... It is... Different.

Cool idea and gameplay was fun.

Interesting take on the tower defense genre. I liked the presentation, in particular the various explosions/weapon particle effects. However there was no sound or music (is that normal?).

I felt like there wasn't much strategy required because you can always go back to the base to heal... so all you need to do is head out, clean up some towers, then head back to the base to heal & repeat the process. My suggestion would be to make the levels much smaller (less towers) and remove the healing, though that would be quite a radical change :) I did enjoy playing the game though & good luck finishing it!

Thank you for the feedback! There is no sound included yet. Unfortunately I use Linux as my main OS, and there are some issues with the Unity Editor:  building a WebGL app causes all sound based extensions to be unreadable, therefore the build always fails. Looking forward to switch to Windows pretty soon :)

Also, thank you for the ideas! The game is kind of raw for now, and pretty boring, I admit. Making a specific target location for the tank to reach while being shot at, would make the game be closer to a Tower Defense genre. Also smaller levels with different patterns would indeed make it more fun and enjoyable.
