This game was difficult at times, but still very entertaining. The push mechanic is an interesting take on movement. Some of the ideas you mentioned in the description sound promising and would be great improvements to the game. In terms of anything that doesn't work, there was nothing at all that was wrong.
The concept is really unique, but it could use some tuning. Other than that, I think it could be something special. Clicking too far makes the control a little obtuse, and the little character will shoot off in a direction really fast without much control. Making it so there's a cap or only a certain area you can click would likely solve this issue, which is the biggest one I have. A confirmation when switching between levels would also be a nice addition, since a few times I would be clicking a little too fast, and the next level would start, and then I'd accidentally send myself flying offscreen with no way to reset. There's definitely a lot of potential for a great experience here!
Hi Ana!! This was a really cute little game! I think the mechanic is really fun and works well, but it seems like there are no walls around the level, which could be an easy fix to help keep the player in bounds. I would also maybe change the death orbs to be like, death spikes or maybe a little drawing of an enemy - I thought it was a coin or something at first. It actually could be a little more challenging, I think. Overall, I thought it was really cute and fun, and it reminds me of playing "keep it up" with a ball. Awesome work!
Edit: You fixed the window size so I removed my feedback on it!
Hey Ana! I love the concept for your game and the playable character is very cute! However, the screen size on the WebGL is way too zoomed in and makes the game very difficult to play. Once I got to level 3, the player started halfway off the screen so it made it impossible to progress any further. I only really did the small taps close to the character in fear of it going off screen (I had to refresh the page a few times because of this). Other than the screen size, this is a very fun game! The movement is fun to do and I like the risk vs reward aspect. Should I click close to the character for more control but go slower, or click further away and speed run the level? I would honestly love to try and speed run this! As for your questions, I don't think it's too difficult at all! And I don't think the mechanics are annoying either. The game is pretty easy if you stay close to your character, but overall a fun concept!
Edit: Just played again after you fixed the window size. Made it all the way to the end! Very fun game and nice level design! I still think speed running this game would be a lot of fun! One last bit of feedback is that there should be boundaries to reset the player if they go off screen. Overall, your game was a lot of fun!
Edit 2: Now that I know your game has a reset button, I have no complaints! Very well done
