The post-jam update is up now that implemented some of the feedback you presented me with. Thanks again for playing!

DUDE! That was so much fun! The way you implemented the movement was a perfect adjustment to the gameplay. It really creates this unique combat experience with the comet enemy type. Great job!

Thank you!

Took some tries to complete, but it's a fun game! Having time slow down as you move sideways is a cool idea, makes you plan your movement to try and suck in some asteroids.

And I see what you did when introducing the comets, nice way to teach the mechanic.

Great job!

Really cool blocking/time control mechanic, also loved the asteroid variants! Also pretty epic that you put in dialogue for the planets.

Thanks for playing. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Yiha ! That's a fun game, i really like the humor.

The mechanics are rich and you really have to learn how it works, it's interesting all the way.

the difficulty is just right in my opinion, but the graphics and sounds aren't very refined and i think there is a misspelling of 'mercury' in the menu (or is it a joke i didn't get ?).

the fact you have to move one of your hand to the enter key to advance in the dialogues is kinda annoying, it would have been better to advance at the press of the mouse button (or better yet, of *any* key).

Good job.

I'm really glad you enjoyed it! I didn't let the tutorial be *any key* because you can actually still more around and do things when the tutorial screens are up. I didn't the player to skip something by mistake when trying to learn how to play. That being said, you're right about the return key. I'll be sure to change that to something more convenient. Thanks! Also, that was 100% a typo in Mercury. I can't believe I missed that one! How embarrassing!

It's pretty hard to aim. I also can't understand, what are the A, D buttons suposed to do. But the idea is great, I loved it.

Developer

I'm glad you liked the idea. I thought of it for no reason at all and wanted to do something with it. The aiming was tough at times I think because the bullets weren't super fast. You had to lead the shots a bit. I was toying with making them faster, so I'll keep it in mind. Thanks. As for the A/D, holding them charges the bars to your side. Releasing them throws you in that direction and slows down the asteroids in the process. I'll look at the tutorial wording again to try to make that more clear. If there was something specific about the wording that threw you off, please let me know.

I really like this game and i dont know why.
Objectively, its a mediocre bullet time game, but I guess i like that charme that the ms paint speach Bubbles and sometimes badly cropped images give the game.
Its an interesting premise, but the time control mechanic is very plain and uninteresting.

Overall its weirdly entertaining, so ill give you points for that
even though the gameplay can get pretty stale and the sound design is horrible.

Nice job, I guess?

I'm glad you found something to enjoy in the game. I'm terrible and art and audio (something I wish I was better at to add some more pizazz in my work), but I'm glad it added some charm in there. The mechanics were most certainly simple, but I found some fun in iterating on the asteroid types. Expanding on the time control mechanic though could lead to some interesting ideas potentially. Something to think on for sure. Thanks for the input!
