This was a very well made and polished game! The puzzle design was interesting and made you feel smart when figuring it out, and you managed to make the story work great with the game as well. Great work with this jam in such a short amount of time!

Very fun game, sucking up the enemies was very enjoyable and all of the areas seemed well polished, like the graphics, music, and sound effects. There was a lot of personality to this game.

Very good juice, it was fun to experiment with what each size was able to do and move around through the level. Controls were a bit awkward but I liked the slowdown when changing size.

I like how scaling was used to add mobility to the character, scaling was a bit slow and I didn’t exactly catch on to resetting scale to go higher, although that was a very cool mechanic. Visual style is good and I like the music and how the sound effects got lower with your scale.

The main mechanic was very fun to use, and all of the visuals, juice, music, and sound design were very well polished. Being able to scale up all objects in the scene made for very interesting decision making with the environment at a fast pace.

It would have been nicer if the elements were more gradually introduced to the player, such as having the first level limited to only the three cards you needed to use, and maybe having the relevant words highlighted as well. Figuring out the rest of the puzzle from there was pretty fun though.

I really liked the way the gameplay balanced getting new workers and building new buildings to get more resources. There was a lot of thought I had to put in for what I chose to do at any given time, so it had a good amount of strategy as well.

The character and enemy designs were quite cool. I like how being larger made it easier to deal more damage while also making it easier to get hit, maybe if you were to update this game you could try and emphasize how being smaller makes it easier to maneuver.

I really liked the creative uses of the scale mechanic, like modifying the scale of gravity and the scene.

Thanks!

Thank you so much for the kind words, we hope you had fun playing!

The artwork and gameplay mechanics for this were really good! It was also nice to know what move the opponent would play next and strategize around that.

I liked the visual style and the music! It was a bit confusing what to do at first, though I was eventually able to win with enough attempts.

I really like how the sounds play in ascending order as you get more gnops! The reversed text is also a nice touch.

I like the visual style and the overall level of polish. It is possible to trap the hero in a constant back and forth with the archers, though moments like having the hero chase one unit while others attack made it feel a bit more tactical.

This game is really well made. The mechanics are intuitive yet the puzzles are complex, and the artwork is simple yet effective. Other details like the responsiveness of the blocks makes the game feel very polished. I also really liked the music and how the motif stayed present throughout the game but the vibe was different for each level.

The final section was painful but it felt really satisfying when it paid off in the end. I do wish there was a little more breathing room during the quicker sections, though.

Lacking a bit in polish, though I can respect the underlying idea of playing as enemies instead of the player.

I never knew backwards wordle could be as fun as you made it! It took me a bit to realize that I had to click on letters three times to make them grey, but after that filling out all of the letters became an enjoyable puzzle. The timer is the right length to make each word doable but not too easy. Nice work!

Cool game! The intro sequence was immensely satisfying.

I've seen from other comments that there's more dialogue if you get far enough? I never got there, and I worry that if other people don't read the comments they'll never even know more game exists

What a lovely game! The art style is super cute and really distinctive. The moment of completing it after a few attempts, and seeing all of the hazards appear with your line perfectly navigating around them all is an incredibly satisfying gameplay moment!

The game just feels really unfinished, I walked for like 10 minutes before getting to anything resembling gameplay.
I've never done a jam solo, and I highly recommend getting a couple friends to work with you on a jam if you can. If you can't, simplifying the game and avoiding scope creep could do wonders to help you get a finished looking product by the end.

What a cute game! The idea was creative, the audio lines were funny, and the character animation was epic. I'm confused what the umbrella was for?

Sweet game! This feels like exactly what the theme was calling for, and the intro with the single bird and the unveiling of the twist was brilliant and elegant. I'm curious what scores everyone else got? The highest I got to was 24

I saw the jokes coming but they were still really funny when they payed off!

Thanks for the feedback! We plan on decreasing the map size next time.

Incredible

The concept was interesting and the design was good, I ended up playing this for a while. The difficultly ramps up nicely, and giving the player health back on a perfect clear made it far more strategic. Music, art, and sound design was well made too. Overall a good entry!

Thanks for the feedback! Many people have suggested this so we will be sure to take this into account next time!

Thanks for the feedback, it is really helpful!

Simply incredible.

This is by far one of the most unique entries I have come across. The theme of music is itself unique, and the way it's reflected throughout the game is really creative. Giving all of the enemies their own unique personality and charm brought it to another level of style. The music is great, the juice (screenshake, explosions, etc.) made the game really fun, and it even went so far as to have a final boss. Really impressive work considering how short the jam period was.

The visuals have a lot of personality and charm, and the game itself is pretty intense, especially near the end where I barely captured the last point with 2 seconds left on the clock. The pacing was surprisingly good for a game jam too, the difficultly gradually goes up so the player has a chance to fully learn how the game works, which hits the sweet spot between frustrating and boring.
