I really liked your backgrounds, they look cute, but they don't match to much with the character.

thank you for the comment and play through!

Cool concept, but the game is slightly too-raw (sometimes level is not restarting after falling down). Nevertheless, it was fun to realize, that the anvil could be used as a weapon, took me like 5-6 tries to get it, but it was so satisfying to finally kill those damn elves

Unfortunately, I did not enjoy this game due to how awkward the controls were, how tedious the gameplay was, and how you had to start all the way from the beginning if Krampus or the anvil fell into a bottomless pit. If you are planning on fixing this game in the future, I suggest that you increase Krampus's movements while he holding an anvil so that he doesn't move forward rapidly when he throws an anvil. I also suggest that you have the throw anvil button not be a mouse click but a keyboard press instead.

thanks for the feedback!

I like the concept but the anvil physics is wonky. And if it's intended to be the main gameplay then I think Krampus should've been allowed to move faster while holding the anvil.

thank you! we were thinking some sort of smash attack and/or speed boost since Krampus is "strong enough" to jump high with it but we de-committed to that due to time

The game is fine and the idea was great but in my opinion the movement was a bit tedious and having to restart the ENTIRE game when you died was the worst thing you could do for this type of game. But overall its not bad and there is a lot of effort behind it. Great game!

thank you!

and yeah the more we’ve played it, the more I wish I had made it go back to the current scene on death

I really liked the game concept but, when I fell, the level did not restarted. Good submission!
