I like the style of your prototype.
Is it a loop hero reference?
P.S. didn't manage to win in first level =(
An homage to Loop Hero for sure. Balancing the Boss fight was our next item and we simply ran out of time. The map is procedural for the first pass, and then subsequent passes more monsters will appear. There is a whole deck building thing that we made, but you can't quite see it yet.
It clearly is inspired by game Loop Hero, which is nice, becouse it is a good game and you tried to implement new twist by choosing diffrent paths into the mix. Love the cover image.
I like the music and the atmosphere. Not sure how the combat phase worked, but good idea to allow the player only to decide the direction and then the main character will just continue is path until the next "decision point".
I got a webgl error, something about build compression. I did enjoy the cover image though. It was a nice use of color and shading.
I walked I walked on the map and in a moment I stood without being able to walk anymore and the game kept running, but without being able to play. But I liked the game, it has a Darkest Dungeon feel and good graphics. I just didn't understand how to beat the monsters at the end of phase 1.
Pros:
I didn’t play much RPG game so It’s kind of rough for me to understand this game. So, in the end no matter how much I play I still don’t understand what’s going on. Am I relied 100% on RNG? Do I have any input in this? Can I influence anything in this game with my input, or just like cruel reality where my input, my voice, my opinion doesn’t matter and fade away into the back of the society with no-one aware or caring it.
9/10 - Love the tech, not the gameplay.
This game is a nice concept. I like all the art and the music is good. I cant get past the demon things, but the game is very fun! Great job :)
