Help! There’s snake in your game!
And idk how I manage to do that.
Also, if you’re mashing space too fast on higher tier extractor, I saw it goes to negative for a few frames.
Overall, it’s a great game you got here. Except that I have to mash space key to extract honey… Oh well at least I got a macro. :D
Although the pace of the game is painfully slow and there’s many pauses of nothing. I still like it nonetheless. Music is pretty chill which perfectly fit the pace of the game. But the screen though very small, the 4th warehouse bay got cut off at the bottom despite zooming it it’s messed up control so I had to zoom back out.
9/10 - pretty good.
Are you sure this made within the jam timeframe? You guys are amazing team! I like the gameplay of this. The music though very enjoyable. Almost hour into the game and I’m not tired of it. This game is very complete that many small problems is just too small and can be forgiven like.
- worker dragging along to their destination instead of running. Or hammering the food roundtable instead of eating. etc.
- worker stuck on round table running.
- worker hungry pretty fast.
- the “ow” sound crying for food sometime decide to be directional most of the time it’s not and just drown out other sound.
And I’m just nitpicking at this point but
- The in-game clock format seems odd instead of 0.00 it’s 0.0
- Status sometime report wrong and everything empty, have to click on worker again to get actual status.
Overall, it’s very pleasantly enjoyable 12/10 - too good for this game jam xD
I got you!
This is scratch v3 file. So you put this on scratch desktop app.
Here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/scratch-desktop/9pfgj25jl6x3
Pros:
- Very simplistic art style look. I like it.
- Very detailed introduction, quick to understand and no complication.
- Prop for that voice over! You brave soul.
Cons:
- Need more variation of its voices. I want to dig deeper into the lore of this. Who are those “guys” we killing for? Our boss? Who could they be?
- Despite all drivers is dead. They will still be haunting you with the engine roaring sound like a taunting that you were actually never get them.
- While everyone is dead, the crowd still cheering. Celebrating that all the racer is dead?
- Despite telling us (player) on tutorial that the crowd will get bored of no kill. None of them will booing at you for doing nothing and let the racer lapse for the 69th laps.
They sure are unlucky though; this really show us that all the death-race is rigged and all the driver are destined to die from the start and there’s nothing they can do.
10/10 - Pretty accurate death-race simulator.
Pros:
- I’ve been warned, but I still surprise. Very chilled music indeed.
Update pros:
- Very forgiven planting system. No dead crops or anything. Which is a nice contrast to health system.
- Very simple yet convincing plants model. I love it.
- That $50000 corn though… THANOS CORN xD
Cons:
- If you died on inventory there’s no way out for you, except ALT+F4/Task Manager > End task
- Go into game, then quit to main menu cause a music to overlap
- I felt like I’m stuck like that journalist who can’t get past tutorial on Cup Head. I am unable to till a dirt no matter what button I pressed. Use a hoe and left click? Nope. Use a hoe and right click? Nope. Shovel? Nope. There’s nothing I can do and radiation is consumed me, I am doom to failed and there’s nothing I can do to stop this. We’re destined here to this very planet to die by radiation or starve to death. Nothing we’re do will be matter and everything will die in the end ‘til the end of time. Or that I can’t find a button to till that dirt. Help.
Update cons:
- It seems that buttons on death screen didn’t work even when inventory close.
- There’s no way to pause the game, kind of rough to quickly shove those corns down my throat and have to quickly jot down my thought of the game down into the paper to not die and lost everything in game. :/
- Hunger & Hydration going down way too fast. Despite we’re on a harsh environment I would assume that you would not get hungry that quick, but then again plant growing very fast I can’t tell the scale of time in this.
- Need a HUD display health, hunger, and hydration in-game screen instead of having to constantly open inventory.
- Slow selling items. 1 at a time is painful gain toward that 50k goal.
- Need more variation of plants
- That floating orb need a clarification, put some icons into it so we know it’s next and previous. Not 2 moons on Mars. :P
Nitpicking:
- Forget to point out how the game have strong wording toward the most important tools in the game. Shovel & hoes. They are useful items and not stupid :(
- Expect a hot bar to loop around, but that’s alright if it not.
- Need a quicker way to organize items Click-move-click is 2slow4me.
Overall, it’s kind of chill I manage to get this far and I can’t push myself any further. So, I’m done for now. 9/10 - a bit grindy, but can’t wait to see it into a fully fledge game!
Pros:
- Beautiful scenery as said in description
- The main menu music is 💯🔥
- Realistic car tire and dust when driving over sand!
- Nice horn sound, would spam press it thousand times!
Cons:
- Why use a full fledge installer when zip file does the trick?
- Nauseated camera on both FPS/TPS
- Car is easily railed out of the road… JUST LIKE CYBERPUNK 2077!
- Music cut off and start over every button pressed on main menu. Mildly infuriating, but its music is so great that it’s forgiven.
- Minimap is shaking and flip with cars instead of locking on top.
- There’s no warning whether you drive forward to destination or back to beginning. Or this could be getting lost simulator? IDK.
- Second level can’t be finish. The destination is busted and won’t acknowledge I was there and I’m stuck there for eternity.
- The road is too rough and giving me nausea; it’s too hard to look at it to the point I had to rely solely on minimap.
- [Forest] The road seems too rural, there’s grass & tree on the road! Unreal! Even the forest in my hometown has a pave way with no grass and tree in its path! Literally unplayable!
- [Forest] The flower and grass are beautiful, but I’m driving over it. This is so sad. Can you get that flower out of the way?
- [Desert & Winter] How could there be a flower & grass on the land? It’s either too hot or too cold for flower and grass to stay alive there!
- [Desert] There’s no cactus and tumbleweed. My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined.
Overall, it’s 7/10
OMFG This is a really scarily accurate of our today game industry where games just shoving you loot boxes upon lot boxes. I’m scared.
This game really nails on how realistic to the other game loot box was. You have my all 5 stars my man!
PS: Your game broke on my 720p screen. I have to run this game on phone using some remote app :/ PPS: I guess now that’s really very realistic to run on a phone as how many mobile games become loot box simulator + IAP. Adding IAP starting from $0.99 and you’ll get extra score on realism!!! :P
11/10
Pros:
- Cool procedurally generated world you got there. 👀
- Sick background beat. I LOVE IT.
I didn’t play much RPG game so It’s kind of rough for me to understand this game. So, in the end no matter how much I play I still don’t understand what’s going on. Am I relied 100% on RNG? Do I have any input in this? Can I influence anything in this game with my input, or just like cruel reality where my input, my voice, my opinion doesn’t matter and fade away into the back of the society with no-one aware or caring it.
9/10 - Love the tech, not the gameplay.
Pros:
- Very faint, yet very chilled background music.
Cons:
- Mouse control is offset from original point; still playable, but infuriating.
- I can’t checkout and IDK why.
- Quite long attack animation. Can’t you just show - number overlay like in some rpg game? (Or maybe I’m just having ADHD with short attention span and can’t wait 1 second animation, jeez)
- Having a bad RNG where all monster wants to gangbang that poor archer. Ended up soft-lock a game with no way to continue ended up restart and losing all my progress to beat that damn king.
This said a lot about today society. Like a two faced, backstabber company who only care about money feeding us to fight on endless war with the only people who won and laughing over us is that goblin leaving us patrons suffer.
10/10 - very realistic society simulation!
Pros:
- I like art style, it’s warm and it had day-night cycle! Lovely.
- Music is short but very catchy.
Cons:
- I’m having a hard time distinguish a falling fruit, but let not be a self-centered and assume that it’s just you that can’t distinguish it.
- Frequently bad RNG waiting that one right fruit to fall for half a day.
PS: Relatable, as I’m working my ass-off just to get off rent to stay alive. Very realistic sims.
7/10
Pros
- Tutorial
- Very chilled music
This game is a sick depicted reality of our real-life music industry. We’ve rehearsals our music for 15 days in 7 days/week with our salary at just 10 coins. THIS IS WORSE THAN MC DONALD WORKER. EVERYONE IS UNHAPPY AS OUR 1000 SINGERS COMBINED HAPPINESS IS FALLEN OFF THROUGH THE GROUND, BUT OUT COMPANY IS GETTING RICHER TO THE INTEGER LIMITS!!! YOU’VE PUT ME INTO THIS CRUEL WORLD, PLEASE PUT ME OUT OF MISERY JIM, PLEASE!!!!
PS: There’s a bug on money where it reaches integer limit
9/10
Pros:
- Easy to understand
- Lovely art style
- CAT!
Cons:
- Music too short with a noticeable loop
- Too long pauses of nothingness
A very realistic simulation of a shop owner who have many cats and a cafe having to taken care both of them at the same time slowly dwell into a sunk cost fallacy. xD
PS: I thought all the files outside a game can be modified. Apparantly not. I want THANOS CAT LOL
