For a first programming project, this game is really good! It's simple, looks good, sounds good, and while the controls leave a bit to be desired, it still plays well. Nice job on this game!

And you even took the time to add an interactive frog in the main menu!

I love the art and music! The opening cutscene is impressive, especially for a game jam.
The gameplay loop is promising, but a couple of changes/additions could really juice things up. 😉
A scoring system so that players can set benchmarks for themself would be good, and a way for skilled players to excede in the moment to moment gameplay is my favorite way of making games feel juicy. Perhaps something drops that isn't a frog that you want to catch instead of avoid, and that could enable skilled players to continue to be engaged once they feel comfortable avoiding the frogs.
All around, really cool game with wonderful art! If your team makes more games in future jams, I can't wait to play them.

Thank you so much!! Those are both features I wanted to add, but this was my first solo jam and I didn't have any experience in programming, hahah. I do plan to participate in more jams, so I hope you look forward to it! I'll look forward to seeing what you make, too!

Lovely art and sound! Cute opening cutscene too! I think the controls are a bit slippery but overall super nice job :D
