Cool concept!
I see we had similar ideas in terms of handling graphics.
I would like to suggest a few more diverse ways of using the mechanic, I didn't get past the wind level, so you probably already did and I just didn't get to see it :( (there's no accounting for my lack of skill).
Nice project!
Loved the sound and the concept! It was a little awkward to control and to know where I was aiming, I think it'd be nice to have a more cubic shape rather than a flat disc. The wind puzzle was particularly challenging since I'd slide up and over the ice.
But this was pretty fun and I love the atmosphere!
I really liked the sounds, the water blobs being shot out wouldn't be as entertaining without that silly sound, and the music was also on point! Though I must say that moving the camera was weird, sensitivity was high, and then there was this weird blurring I'm not even sure happens every time I make a sudden movement, which, with the high sensitivity, meant that the screen was always blurring.
I can see potential on the concept, maybe some more things you can interact with using water, or a level where the wind helps you, or something along the lines of that, and the game would feel complete.
So far, I think this game is gonna hit top 3 on the "Theme "rating, because it truly is about "The Cold", isn't it?
So glad to see you like it! I'm happy that the overall experience ended up being good, because nearing the end of the jam I thought that I messed up the level design (not even speaking about how short the game was 😅).
Truly a 🥶-->❤️🔥 comment :)
Also the blurring might be because of motion blur, I think I'll experiment with lowering it later on.
