I can imagine some very interesting pickups/shop items and boss enemies coming out of this!

Ha! Yeah, we probably should have included a tutorial on how to play BlackJack :)
+ Well put together graphics, effects, sounds and general game feel.
+ Pretty well polished, all gameplay mechanics are intuitive and very few bugs
+ Theme utilized well. Combining unlikely things that work well together
+ Overall simple roguelike with all basic ingredients
+ Procedural cave generation as far as it looks
- Rather Repetitive gameplay, not much depth
- Combat is quite heavy on rng
- No progression or end goal besides score
Really cool game, man! The only "problem" is that the player isn't forced to battle anytime, so you can just keep going. But I really liked it!
Yeah. I had the monsters chase you down, but then you die in like 6 battles on average. The game needs some sort of difficulty curve.
Genuinely fun and unlikely game. "just one more level..." :)
Very cool idea for a game and great job on the aesthetics! I could see it making an excellent mobile game, to play a few rounds on the go.

An update just under the wire. Fixes a few things and adds progression as you descend into the dungeons.
